Critical Incident Management / Emergency Response / Business

No organisation wants to be involved in a "Major Incident"

However, in the complex world in which we live and operate things can go wrong and, when they do,  they can often be reported quickly in the press or on social media. Therefore, we need to be able to instigate Critical Incident Management procedures so we can respond quickly and effectively in order to be able to bring the incident to a safe, timely resolution and ensure business continuity. This can be achieved through Incident Command training.

What is a "Critical Incident"?

In the wider context, critical incidents are incidents and events of any scale outside of the usual business activity that can result in serious consequences including;

  • any incident where the outcome or consequence of that incident is likely to result in serious harm to any individual, significant community, public confidence, or business impact

  • an incident that will require special arrangements and critical incident management capability to respond and ensure business continuity.

These can be both operational and non-operational

Why is effective Incident Management Important?

Effective Incident Command training leads to Critical Incident Management that ensures a rapid, coordinated, and efficient response to mitigate risks, minimise harm and ensures business continuity.

It also demonstrates to your staff, customers and the public that you are a professional, diligent and competent organisation.

Why choose our course?

Our 3 day Incident Command training course provides your team with the ability to be able to identify a major incident, implement the Incident Command Structure and give them the knowledge, skills and confidence to carry out the role of a Gold or Silver Commander during critical incident management.

In addition to this, our course will help you and your organisation be able to identify potential weaknesses within your business and plan for the worst so that if a major incident does occur, an appropriate and proportionate response can be deployed ensuring business continuity.
