ANY form of physical intervention should ALWAYS be the last resort.
We never want to have to use restraint techniques against another person and we would always encourage exhausting all other avenues wherever possible.
However, sometimes we have no other option than to use physical intervention and positive handling (also known as PMVA training) to prevent harm and regain control and, when we have to do this, we need to ensure that the techniques that we use are safe and easy to use in order to achieve the safest outcome for all involved.
We specialise in bespoke packages to ensure that we are able to meet the needs of all those in your care, both clients/service users and staff, making them safer every day.
We also offer Soft Restraint and Handcuff training to reduce the time manual physical restraint is applied and increase both staff safety and safety of your clients, service users and stakeholders.
