About Us

Personal Safety Partnership started with a simple belief: good people deserve to go to work, and come home, safe. Our founder spent over a decade in senior custodial operations, where conflict, risk and the use of force are daily realities, not theory. PSP was built to put right training that is vague about the law and the consequences and enhance safety.

Our mission is to give you the knowledge base, communication skills and physical tools you need in your toolbox to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of violence, and to keep good people safer. Communication and de-escalation come first. Physical skills come last, and only where they are lawful, necessary and proportionate.

I spent more than ten years in senior custodial operations. I have been in the rooms where things go wrong, and I have seen how much depends on staff who are calm, well trained and clear about the law. I still train, and I still practise what I teach.

I have delivered training across the UK and as far afield as Ireland and Brussels, and I work alongside respected training organisations including Safer Resolutions Training and NFPS Ltd. People leave our courses more confident and more careful, and that is what keeps them safe. If you're not sure what your team needs, just ask.
